My Little Pine Tree

I celebrate Christmas for the purpose of getting together with my friends and strengthening the ties with home made cooking. Someone didn't agree with me in the "food and good relationship" part, because the person thinks that a relationship between peers don't need to be strengthened by food. I think otherwise. You gather people in a room with food, and they are obligated to talk or rather not hold anything back. From there you get laughter and happiness (aside from some probable hickups, but we are just human) Food = good relationship.

Didn't expect presents but I got myself 3 pairs of attractive socks (well one was considered to be a legging but socks nevertheless. Finally got new socks because most of mine are riddled with holes. And a little pine tree. I should go hunt for little ornaments to hang on the branches next. To Yuterra in Manezh (OMG newshoppingmallwithattractiveshopsiloveit OMGOMG), maybe.

Spoiled

I can never be even more spoiler than the way I am at this moment.
I never planned to get a new laptop this year because:

1. my old laptop (the big, hulking and wide screened Acer) is still working perfectly -- aside from the 60 GB RAM and the occasional turtle-like speed of the processor;
2. I already asked for a new digital camera, a wrist watch, shoes, clothes, a pair of Levi's jeans, and a PSP;
3. I don't dare to ask.

It turns out that I have to have a new one because:

1. my 2nd younger brother (going into secondary school next year) is computer illiterate. (He doesn't even know how to print a document!);
   
2. there is no home PC since 2003, except for my 1st younger brother's --
3. whom he refused to share with the others and;
4. who is going away to college next year;
5. my dad is opposed to my having a big and heavy laptop

Acer TravelMate 6292. One of the things I like about this laptop is the 12.1" LCD screen and its light weight. Upon purchase, I settled on the free 2GB RAM upgrade, a laptop cooler and an optical mouse. Bargained for the price of an external HD. I got an 80 GB HD for BND98. So currently using Microsoft Vista Business as the OS.

I started packing. I know it's a bit too early to pack, but since I no longer fly with Royal Brunei Airlines, I have to fly with AirAsia. Not comfortable at all. 15kg is the maximum weight for cargo. And I need 30kg to fly to Russia. So I had to divide half my belongings into my suitcase and another half into a box that is to be sent to my aunt in KL by snail mail this Friday. Regret yet again for bringing clothes that were not necessary. And for bringing my towel. I still don't get why I should bring my towel from Russia when I have towels which are piling up (neatly) in my mother's closet.

Can't help feeling sad as I was packing...

My shoe crime

My new digicam : Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55. Yes, it's pink! I meant to buy the black model 'cause it looks damn sleek. Too bad the color black is not available. Gave my old Nikon CoolPix to my younger brother who is even happier to receive it. 7.2 Megapixels and 2.5 inch screen. My new digicam is even way better than Nikon's 3.2 Megapixels and 1.5 inch screen.

Dad is unpredictable. I can never tell what he's willing to buy for me.

Oh no she didn't...

It's my 2nd younger brother's birthday today. He's eleven. He's a bit miffed because he wanted his birthday celebrated in Swenson's.

Bought Rihanna's Good girl gone bad and Ne-yo's Because of you. $2 a piece. I'm shameful to say that it's worth buying albums cheap. Because in the end I regretted buying them. They're not even my type of music, I don't know why I bought it in the first place. Though, I really like Ne-yo's Because of you (single). T'was addictive.

Watched Transformers. I'm smitten. Awesome. Need to buy clear copy DVD.

A white knight in a shining whatever

My parents bought me a white Sony Playstation Portable and I'm so fudging estatic! The bad news is that I will only be able to get my grubby hands on it when I return back home for summer holidays.

But anyways, eventhough it's 2 years late, I still appreciate it. I didn't ask for it and yet they still buy it for me. I feel like crying when my mom told me that my dad had bought me the PSP. Besides the gaming part, I love it when it can play movies and videos XD Okay, I know I'm overexcited over this thing, eventhough I haven't even lay eyes on it yet, but this is the best things that ever happened to me ever! (one of the best things I'm sure) Now, I should prepare myself for an extensive begging for an external hardisk...

An easy day today. No stress. Came into class, sit around and talk for half an hour and then go. Seriously. Should I be worried?
